5 miles in the cathouse

With this strech of the river the only places that had speed over 1.8 miles per hour were the area that were very shallow like under 3 foot deep. We found several areas that were so shallow we had to raise our feet to keep them from dragging. I am sure a guy could launch a 10 foot boat but I am also sure a guy would have to drag it over some places.
I can see how swift current and a small stream or river could lead to some problems. Nothing on this trip was even close to being dangerous.
