"I'm curious, does the fillet board attach to anything to keep it from sliding all over the place? But of course it does, the pictures just don't show it, right?"

[cool][#0000ff]The "rear" of the board simply rests on the tail gate of my Jimmy. It is held in place by the weight of the board, along with a large container of water into which I drop the fillets to chill and rinse them. Sometimes...when doing a major filleting operation with a group...I take along a card table and use it both as a rest for one end of the board and to hold the water, unfilleted fish, etc.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]There are holes in each corner of the board. When I first made it, I simply put the pieces of PVC into those holes...with a stopper to hold them in place. Too wobbly. That's when I built the PVC frame.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I also used a box from a weed whacker as a second support. It folded down flat when not in use, but could be used to hold the plastic bag under the hole when filleting. I just "trimmed" a bit off the top to get it at the right height.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Another one of those things I have tinkered with a bit since first making the board when I lived in Arizona. It was handy for filleting the big flathead cats we caught down there. Since then it has "hosted" thousands of fish of many species.[/#0000ff]
