Well usually if your not in tall grass or anything while your reeling or jigging and what not anything that feels out of the ordinary. I dont know what kind of rod or reel you have but with what I have you can just feel the lure as it goes though the water.
I guess if you use spinner baits i guess u can say its as if your lure hit a brick wall and just feels like it stops all the sudden. If you feel something like that its usually your cue to set the hook.
