Salmon Fishing 17th-19th
#3
They are strong. They are like pulling in a boat anchor until they get closer to you then they figure out what is going on and then they run and just peel the line off. I have caught bigger salmon. The largest when I was in Alaska I caught was 42lbs. Roe is what I caught most on. The 36" was on Tuna.

After talking with a few friends from work today, I may head back up next weekend again for some more fun. I will see if I can get to Sportsman's and get a bigger reel.

We BBQ'd some fresh salmon last night after I cleaned, filletted, and package the ones we caught. WOW! Nothing tastes better. I need to get the small one in and get it smoked. Can't wait to taste smoked salmon. It has been a long time.
