9 miles in a float tube?

TD, I think that we could have made the full trip with the time we had, but. The heat was bad, and to be honest we would had had to keep floating instead of fishing. Your idea to cut it down was soild, and I am glad I found the shorter takeout. I would have liked to fish a little more than I did. The current in places just didn't allow us to do that. At first I felt like man 3 miles is going to take forever. The current at first was not real bad. But when we hit it, it took us down stream fast enough that soon I was thinking man we are going to get out WAY too soon. I am thinking about another float trip on the snake at weiser. I think I found a 4 mile or so I am going to try to do next weekend. I will have to see what happens. This will be my birthday present to me. Ron
