World Record Largemouth Bass Record Broken!
#23
Hello Steve,
Article was a great read!

I tend to agree that this world record bass "tie" won't stand for 77 years but this spring may be a bit optimistic, I guess we'll see. It would be kinda nice to have the record bass home again! Has anyone interviewed the angler? I saw him on Japanese T.V. clip but couldn't understand what they were saying. I hope he speaks english, I would sure like to hear what he has to say.

It seems to me that the 25+ pounder at Dixon wasn't even the first to break the black bass record. If I remember there were at least 2 fish (one by a lady angler, and one by a fly fisherman) out at clear lake that had fish over the record but there was some controversy about how they were weighed and they were released.

With so many largemouth fisherman in the world i was surprised to see a pro break the record. After all they are the most likely to be steady on big fish but there are so many more (millions) of bass fisherman out there I thought maybe it would be just some regular angler.

Lastly Steve, I saw this published list of Top 25 Largemouth Bass record fish (below), but seem to remember other fish and other names that don't show up? Who's missing?
