I originally got an M68c Lowrance for ice fishing. When I got my bass boat I replaced the POS that came with the boat with it and gave the POS to the son of a fishing buddy, which was better than the nothing he had. In the winter I take it off the boat and use it for ice fishing.

It may be getting a little long in the tooth with what is available now, but I have a larger screen Lowrance up front on my boat and the M68c remains my my "go to'.
