Well- not much to say... It was rough this morning.
Got to Callville at 3am- launched to a building swell and winds. Paddled about 8 miles in super rough water for one hell of an exercise. I threw a ton of different stuff today and just couldn't get the fish to cooperate. I slowed my presentation down and got a smallie about 13". I got a 2.5 lb striper on a crankbait a little later, and Alex got a largemouth about the same size as the smallie.
That's all there is to say about today.
On the water at 3am- off by 9.
Windy- choppy- whitecaps- huge swell, and slow fishin.
But hey! I took today off to fish, so it was a great day!
