Dutch Oven Help
#14
IMO
Using foil or liners takes away the whole purpose of a Dutch Oven. The flavor you get from your dutch oven being properly seasoned is what makes the food so good. If you are going to line the oven with foil or liners, you should just put you food in a pie tin and throw it in the coals of the fire.
No dutch oven should ever be lined with any foil or liners. Sorry to be the only one that disagrees, but my family has been cooking in dutch oven competitions for years and thats the key to amazing tasting food, like it or not. [Wink]
