The fishing up there isn't great as mentioned earlier, but I do fish it since I live down the road. If solitude is what you are after, you might be suprised as more people fish there than you might guess. There are a lot of small brooks and browns, every now and then a cutt or bow and some fair sized whitefish.
You need to be careful to not trespass, as it is all private up there. With the new law you need to stay within the high water mark (which the water is at now). I tried to wade it 2 days ago and gave up after I almost got swept downstream.
