I have a set of the mini Church brand planner boards and do not have a problem with them. They don't work as well in rough water but are fine and easy to get off. The biggest advantage of the Church brand is that they have a rear pin that lets the board slide down the line when a fish hits and the front clip releases. The smaller boards are easier to reel in and have a lot less drag. The all around best board is the middle size as Old_Coot stated but either model is better than the Off Shore brand in my opinion.
