JaSkynyrd, Chickamauga Tailwaters, Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted Bass, 6/7
#1
My spot below the RR bridge is heating up! I used artificials only today and I used a spook and a c-rig with a 10 inch junebug worm, a 7.5 inch plum worm and a fluke, with all but one fish was caught on the 7.5 inch plum worm, the loner fish was on the 10 inch. I just tossed them out as far as I could upstream and just let the current do most of the work bouncing it back to me, every once in a while I gave it a little twitch and they ate it up. Totals: 2 smallmouth, 1 Spot, 3 Largemouth in about 1.5 hours, missed as many as I caught.

I just realized in both pictures a little vietnamese kid is coming to get the fish from me, I told him on the smallmouth it was too small to keep (even if it was 18+ I would have thrown it back) and he couldn't fathom not keeping any fish, no matter what the size. I sent him back empty handed and his father came back to ask me for the fish and I explained the size limits and that if I caught any spotted bass I would give all of them to him but that's the only species I would keep for him. So I catch the largemouth and this kid trots back over and his dad is hollering "Good fish! I take! We keep yes!" I was done explaining at that point and I just said no you can't have this fish. Made me wonder what size fish he had in his cooler.
