Most all on board chargers are water proof for a certain amount of time. let things dry out for a few days and give it a try,Most of the electronics are dipped in a clear resin to make them water proof.
I mounted mine higher and the water only got to about a foot and the bilge turned on I was not off the trailer yet.It's been along time since I did that but we all do it once. [
