Yeah, sure. Unless you have really old (1960's) equipment go ahead and bring your trout and bass stuff. I use a 7wt medium action fiberglass for smallmouth up north that works great on pavon and bonefish here. It's just that the reel needs to hold about 200 yds of gelspun, Spectra or Micron backing. The flies are a bit different, but you can buy them here. For tarpon you need a stiff 12+ wt rod. If you have an Ugly Stik model, it'll work here too.
