I learned to roll cast on water however, since I don't have a pond in my back yard, to practice I would wet the lawn down which helped add tention to the line. Not an ideal situation but a lot better than a dry lawn. But don't you think that it is to early in the game to try teach one's self to roll cast? [/size][/#008000][/font]
