I like what I am learning and I took the rod back to the river this evening, still had to finish the night on spinning thought. Hooked a little trout that jumped like a dancer tossing the hook in the end (no worries she was going back any how)
I think tomorrow i will take my gear to the park instead, focus on the cast and the line and less on the fish rising in front, left, and right of me. At first I thought learning on the water would be fun.... being good helps but even a noob can get lucky but I know that I am tossing all the tec. that I have read about and tried to suck into my brain right into the river with the poorly cast fly [crazy]
