Went into a big discount sporting goods outlet and picked up my rod from one of the floor stands. It looked nice and it also came with a sock & aluminum tube. Would say that the rod cost about $100 & the reel about $40. Needless to say I knew zilch about what I was buying. I’m sure with inflation in today’s market a similar set would cost a few bucks more. Guess what I’m saying is that one spends what they can afford and feel what the sport is worth it to them. Okay Brook, so when you say mid-range kits what price range do you have in mind and what line-up might that include? [/size][/#008000][/font][/font]
