Yesterday Windriver his son and I headed over to the Preston Area for some fishing. We fished Twin Lakes in the morning catching quite a few bluegill on fly rods. We also caught a few bass and crapie.
We headed over to Condie in the afternoon and caught 12 bass with the biggest around 16 inches. We had to work hard for the bass because the weather was not ideal for fishing. It was pretty windy and tough to control your line.
Windriver made the most unusual catch of the day. He cast too far and his senko went right over the top of a 5 foot bush and while he was trying to get the snag loose we noticed a bass jumping beside the bush. He wasn’t snagged he had actually caught a bass on the back side of the bush. We were able to get the line off the bush and he landed the fish. Here are a few pictures from the trip.
