POLL-12 yr olds shouldn't pay license fees

I can look at it both ways. My daughter is 11 and starting next year, i will have to pay for her, BUT she is now starting to really take an interest in fishing. She loves it. And if she is going to be harvesting harvesting fish like the rest of everyone, then yes she should have to pay to help out. $5 really isnt that much, it might be for a group. Some scouts came up to my grandma's house last year and was offering to paint numbers on the curb, like another poster suggested, or by me, they have a yard sale all the time to earn money for scouts. Plus they would have a license for the rest of the year to go fishing. Im glad you were able to find a solution, hope you and the kids enjoy your fishing trip.
