Blackfoot Reservoir + 6 wt Fly Rod + Monster Carp = ?

Great report! I really need to try my hand at some of these carp. The only carp I have caught before are grass carp. I would tie a chunk of grass on my rod and let fly. They would slowly swim over and investigate and if placed just right they would come up and slowly sip your fly off the surface. Those guys could be so picky but the end result was always worth it. Glad you were able to get into some fish
