Lucky Peak-HELP!
#8
Kodiak and Aluma, this info is about 10 days old BUT I got into the trout at CJ just coming out of the narrows on the north side, flatlining rapala's. Have spent a couple hours this year already across from the Airforce ramp (same places as last year) without a single hookup. The ones I caught weren't real big, maybe 12 inches, but are pretty frisky-everyone came out of the water a couple times before I got them to the boat!
Thanks for that information, idduckhntr. Hard to beat last year at C.J. flatlining for trout with rapalas. We hit them from spring to late fall every time we went. We did have to move around until we found them. The last trip of 2008 we found them in the middle of the big pool straight out from the dam. I'm planning a C.J. trip before the end of the month. I'll try the area you suggest. Just want to try the L.P. Kokes first.
Thanks, Kodiak. I'll check ou the sniffer canning discussion. I'd sure like Kokanee all winter if I can figure out how to preserve them...[Smile]
