I was just wondering what happened to you?! Glad to see you're back posting! About canning. Go to FishSniffer.com and go to Forums, then to Kokanee, and go back one page. They've been chatting about canning for some time. There are about 8 pages of recipes. In regards to C.J., we tried it once w/o any success, and so quickly switched over to crappie. I hear the bite is on at Magic, both shore and trolling. I was sure I was going to hammer them yesterday at L.P., esp. since Sunday had supposedly been a good day up there, but we went back to where we nailed 'em on Friday, and it was dead. Wen back to the point, and picked up two, and landed one. I just read a post on another site where a fellow said he had done best on a green hoochie, but I haven't done that well with them. Over at Ririe I know they like to use the "Gary" dodgers, and I might have to give them a try. Bottom line, however, is they are either hitting or not, I guess. I know they use maggots in the northern part of the state, and have talked to some at L.P. using them. Let me know if they produce. Good to hear from you and look forward to your posts. Mike
