Simp, If you are fishing off the pier be sure to walk softly when you walk out on the pier, don't just stomp your way out to the end, believe it or not bass can detect you up to 20 feet away or more from the bank when you walk heavy along the bank.
I use super stealth when walking around the ponds I fish. If I am going to move to another spot 50 yards down the bank I will even walk about 20 or 30 feet back away from the pond then move to the new spot and creep up slowly to the bank being as quiet as possible.
You will amazed how man more bass you will catch in a small pond if you keep quiet. Also wear neutral colored clothing like, light green, beige, brown, etc. And try not to let your shadow cast over on the water on sunny days.
