i did catch a 31" steelie not to long ago that went around 8-9 lbs on my med-heavy pole, but i was just woried because its rated for 10-20 lbs test line, and i think from what i've read that you use 30 to 40 pound test on the salmon. I really dont want to break my pole so tell me what you guys that know a little more think[
