Get a patch kit.
Buy an anchor.
Watch the oar locks. The rubber one seems to dry rot after a few years and the screws that hold them together pull thru.
Buy or make some oar keepers.

Watch the rod holder. I lost a rod on mine because the rod holder either sits in the way of the oar or just outside of the oar. If you use the outside position and then try to use the oar, you will hook the rod and pull it out of the rod holder (if you did not use the velcro which sux) and splash, no rod. The newer model you are getting may all ready fixed this issue.
Ideas?
Drill new holes for the rod holder.
Anchor lock is terrible. Look into buying a rope cleat.
You may want to put a bar between the foot rests. I did for a few reasons. The father-in-law tried to stand on them (Don't). When you have shoes on and no waders I found myself trying to put my foot on them without looking amd missing(got a little wet). The bar works great for a rod holder also.

Not at all. I have learned one thing about forums. There is tons of information from all types of people and most is very use full. My pontoon is in the mail. It should be here tomorrow. I am going to try and get it before I head to Preston.
