Just like their ocean-going brothers and sisters, the sockeye, they have a three or four-year cycle. There are early and late spawning types, and both can be found in Idaho. The Fish and Game is experimenting with triploid kokanee in Lucky Peak on a very limited basis. These could result in bigger kokes. So, get that tackle box loaded up with lots of wedding rings and shoepeg corn!!!! Mike
