i agree, the gill nets take more than the seals, otters, and other fisherman. But alot of our fish wouldnt be were they are now if it wasnt for the indians pushing for the conservation. The fish in the east fork and the north fork come mostly from indian conservation, they have been putting egg boxs in the river to naturaly spawn the eggs. Also the reintroduction of the coho to the clearwater.
I get as mad when i see them spearing and snagging wild fish and filling the back of there trucks with as many as they can carry but much of what has improved our steelhead/salmon can be traced back to the indians.
