Like you said before, it was a bunch of those fiesty rainbows. [
] Most were about 12-16", but I did land one brown that was probably around 20". There were some larger fish rising on a regular basis out in the middle of the river, but I was having too much fun, and my waders have a hole in the waist area, so I didn't brave the deeper water.
I'll have to head out one of these days you guys are going so I can learn the right technique to nymphing, I sure haven't figured out how to do it right yet! [laugh]
