[cool]Nice report Telbone. I haven't been up to Kirch yet but it is on my list. I have done the midge fishing on Crowley lake in Calif. and have caught some nice ones. The guides on that lake fish that way all the time. Its amazing that a 20" trout will hit a size 20 midge! Most of the time I strip in an olive matuka or wooly bugger. The damsel nymph is also good for a driveby yank.
