Fishing was very good today out of Echo despite a little wind blowing caught large and small mouth a several stripers. Had a bad time breaking fish off (six total roke off), think my line was knicked up from fishing Alamo in Arizona. Drop Shottin' Aaron's Magic 5.5" killed the smallies, the large mouth cauth on all types of reaction baits from stick baits and blades too even wacky wormed senko's, but ended up feeding a bunch of senkos to the fish the smaller fish around 1.5 lbs or so would grab the ends and pull the senko right off the hook happened four times in a row at one point. Big fish of the trip about 3.5 large mouth, stripers were running 2-2.5 lbs and were smokin the stick baits and rttle traps. Saw shad getting pushed against the islands and a couple coves on east side.
