Mike (Kaiser0306) sent me a pm a couple of days ago and wanted a repeat crappie lesson. I met him at the ramp this AM around 8:00 and we fished until 12:30. We had one of my better days in a while. Total catch today: 45 crappie (19 keepers), 19 spotted bass, 1 smallmouth bass, 1 largemouth bass, 2 drum, 2 channel cats, 1 golden shiner, and 1 bluegill. We had a few more spots jump off at the boat. A couple broke lines too. I had another catfish wrap around a post on a dock and break off. All in all, a very good day. Mike caught his PB crappie. He said that it pulled as hard as the spots did. He thought that he had a bass until he saw the crappie and then nearly panicked. I lipped it for him. I forgot the net again. emoBang

We caught our bass in water deeper than 10 feet and most of the crappie came 8 to 10 feet deep. We did catch the drum and 4 crappie in shallow water. BG shads were great on the crappie and ringer stingers were great on the spotted bass and other bass. emoBigSmile emoGeezer
