I actually was catching fish on three different flies. little black WD40, Griffiths gnat, and the one I had the most success on was a dark olive bwo with a grey hackle, at least I believe that is what it was...(just looked it up and realized it was an emerger, parachute and all) [blush] I had a monster take me into my backing and then come off with that one.

I wasn't having any luck subsurface and then I found some fatties sipping bugs off the surface, sitting right next to the bank. I snuck up on them and casted from behind and WHAMMO! It was a blast. I think the biggest thing up there at times is just finding the fish.
