Yeah, that is a good spot. As far as the weather is concerned...I hear it's supposed to start getting steady in July this year. This is ridiculous...probably more snow this week again. The brand of the jig head: I think the one you see in the picture was something I picked up at Sportsmans. I can't find the package they came in. They have a really flat head, and you run your line through the bottom and attach with a split ring. Apparently it is supposed to help keep the bait upright. I also use the Gambler "Giggy Head" quite a bit.
