trolling motor ?

I tried that and I couldn't get a primer bulb to pull enough pressure to bring the fuel all the way through the transom.

one thing that I havn't tried and dont know why it wouldn't work is putting an electric pump in the tank and use it just to prime the motor until you get it started. the only problem I see with that is the human error that would forget to turn it off and flood the motor with fuel.
