It depends on where you do fishing?
Catfish bait is a huge topic in our local forum.
Below are some advices:
* In the fishing pond
- Sandwich
- Indochina banana (for all who live in Asia)
- Fish ball or powder (fish food - factory made food) which is very common in Catfish export countries like Thailand, Vietnam...
Note:
Fishing tip: In the pond, water run slowly so don't use the sinker, let the line freely. Set a hook as you see the line going straight. 2 hooks is suggested.

* Out site the river like Mekong ...
- Chicken or duck intestine
- Cockroach
- Sea worm
- Beef
- Shipworm
Note:
Fishing tip: In the river, water run quite fast so you really the sinker, Make the line straight & not necessary to set a hook as the fish hook itself as eating the bait. 1 hook is suggested cause there are many rubbish below.
