Best way to fish with anchovies???

What is the best way to fish with anchovies? I have tried cutting off head and tail and put the chunk of body on the hook but that way it alwyas falls off. I am using 2/0 octopus hook. I have also tried hooking behind the eye putting the hook all the way through and bury hook into body. Some people tell me to use treble hooks. I am just looking for the best way thank you any help will be much appreciated im head to BH this morning around 8:30.
