Try visit some of those Japanese bass fishing web sites. A lot of them have a "Lost Lure" page. It lists the lure with a picture. Tells about how the lure was lost, and gives the price. I've never seen one under $15. [sly][sly][sly]
A neat place to visit is a "Used Tackle Store". (almost every fishing store has a Used Lure section)
The Japanese bass fishermen I've met like the best, most expensive, tackle they can get..... and when a new model comes out, they buy it. Their "old reel" is traded in like we would trade in a used car.
So you can get an excelent condition, $500 Stella reel, for 1/2 of what it cost 8 months ago.
Aloha,
Stan
