Any new Strike reports?

I'm going to be hitting Lowell a lot this year. I've heard the powers to be and Sierra Club are going to try and close it to boating. They say the wildlife comes first. I didn't know the boaters were hurting them. I hope the public has some say in this. Lowell is the best warm water fisheries close to us that is similar to southern lakes.
