This way he can use well insulated boots to keep his feet warm.
They use the same carbide and steel spikeas our replaceable soles for the korker fishing boots. For the above you can get it as a push in or screw in spike.
I just recieved a replacement set of those inserts for my Korker Outfitter boots I bought on ebay. I lost one of the carbide & steel soles the last time I was fishing the Gunnison. It is lost about a foot and half down in the mud.
This time I am going to use one of those hex head screws in the toe area like my friend Todd does to make sure his sole does not pop off.
