Thanks for the welcome Kodiak1. It was the Snake river arm but yesterday they were biting everywhere including the narrows. We caught over 100 crappie in the snake arm and then we tried trolling for bows around and in the narrows without any luck but the boats in the narrows were also catching slabs one after another. I did catch a nice 18 inch bow while crappie fishing on a ultralite and white jig that was fun. Red and white or white jigs tipped with worm or not I caught them both ways. They still were in the deep water from 30 to 20 feet. Mark the fish, anchor and cast out as far as you like . After it hits the bottom reel in real slow right off the bottom until your straight up and down below the boat and just let it set for a while before you cast again. We caught them reeling and setting. I used two jigs on my line one at the end and the other two feet up. I caught doubles at least 8 times. Averaged between 7 to 10 inches. Remember they should start going shallower to spawn any time so watch for them there if you can't find them deeper. Overall we had a great day until I had to clean all of them but now I have around 10 pounds of fillets. Hope this helps
