Who's ready for Henry's Lake????

I am looking forward to trying for some fish this year a little earlier. Last year was the first time I have fished Henry's in over 10 years and we fished it in October. We did good in numbers, but nothing in size as 5lbs was the largest. We will be up there from June 11-14th this year to try something a little different. I figured the crowds on opening would be terrible and the weather, well, it is usually bad 90% of the time on opening weekend. I hope 2 weeks will make a little difference in weather and crowds. I am hoping to figure out the fly fishing a little better also. I did not do so good last year as we ended up trolling with Rapalas to catch everything. I will be up there again probably in the fall around Sept/Oct time frame again. It should be a little better fishing this year for me now that I have been there recently and have a little fresher understanding of the lake. But then again who knows. This time it will be spring, so I guess things will be different, but that is where this forum comes in to play. All I know is I am ready for some large fish to fry and smoke.
