DK and I had a really fun day today, catchin' some nice black crappie, emoSmile We only had about a half dozen under the 10" size limit, biggest was 13" but lost one at the boat that was the biggest of the day, maybe a TARP, emoAngry I better let DK tell that story, emoPoke We caught somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-55 Crappie, 2 yellow bass, 1 Small Mouth, 3 Drum, and about half dozen 'gills, emoThumbsup Most Crappie were on a 2 to a 4 count and in shallow water. Water temp was around 57* in most places. We did cover a lot of territory, we would catch a few at one place and they would shut off and we would have to find the next group, emoTongue All were black, no white crappie today, emoTongue When I cleaned them there were only 5 with eggs and only one of those had a full load of eggs so we did a pretty good job of letting the spawning females back to finish their duties, emoSmile Most fish were caught on Bobby Garland Shad with their tail dipped in char dip&glow. Color didn't seem to make a lot of difference today, Smile

In the close up of the 4 on the cutting board I'm trying to show how black their faces are, very dark if you can't tell in the picture, emoThumbsup
