I would just like to add that you will need to watch the weather very close and be prepared to run for cover if the wind/rain/hail/snow/bug hatch comes up fast! The weather is notorious on opening weekend. The lake is only 20' deep at it's deepest point and the thing turns into something resembling the great lakes in no time.
You can do well trolling, just watch the other boats that are doing the same. The small store at the Wild Rose Ranch will give you some advice as well.
