Trolling Motor for Pontoon

I use a 28 lb thrust MinnKota and it pushes me around pretty well, and I'm a big guy. The main problem I've had, is that I couldn't get it to go slow enough to fish a flyrod and flies effectively. I wound up buying a few readily available plastic sprinkler system fittings and pipe, and made myself a trolling plate that works real well. My motor is mounted in front, so I can control the motor and plate without contorting myself into a pretzel. Let me know if you want further details on the plate.
