A little So Cal notice. The latest MILPA Maps show the closure of the Newport Bay, all of Laguna Beach and Dana Point Harbor. From all fishing. Shore fishing, Tube Fishing, Boat fishing .Dock fishing, Pier fishing. You get my drift? The Government wants to take away my fishing. This is not about catch and release but a total ban on fishing. I'm writing my Congressperson Lorretta Sanchez. I'm not voting for her or any Demacrat if she allows this to happen. I will pack up, move out of California, and take my business with me. I urge you to write or call. Take a moment to speak your mind. Or eventually this board will have nothing to write about. Oh ya... I went out last night with my son for an evening fishing trip on the bay. We caught Thirty Calico, Sand, and Spotted bass on the falling tide. My boy also nailed his first Halibut. We ate a nice dinner at Bitchin' Kitchen for about $15.00 and had a few beers at the Pier. If it wasn't for fishing, none of this would have happened. Imagine a world with no fishing...
