For my big pontoon, I usually have help carrying it down, but the other boats I carry myself. I have pulled my pontoon, but the ground has got to be smooth like grass. No sand or gravel.
And then I pack the battery and motor down. Also on the pontoon with help, we put everything on the boat except battery and haul it all at once.
I have walk some great distances for the battery...no big deal to me.
There should be some in the Archives about wheels. One used a wagon, one used a golf bag cart...one with PVC. Type in tube wheels in search.
