Just because you have the ability to pay a guide in ID doesn't mean that we can do the same here. The guides down here will charge big money and can't guarantee you any birds. More often than not you won't get any shooting no matter how much they charge. They are guiding on land that is locked up and the same birds that fly over them just flew 1,000 miles over hundreds of thousands of decoys that were set up in fields that the birds want nothing to do with. We don't have the luxury of asking permission to hunt here. The private land mentality down here is out of control. Wait till these birds are costing the farmers hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage and then they MIGHT let a few select people hunt it. I have friends that are guides on the big clubs here and unless you have deep pockets you can't get on them. If there were a guide here that was worth $200 to hunt with i would do it. Right now there is not.
