Report for June 5, 2003 (Thursday)
ALBIES STARTING TO SHOW AGAIN!
CATALINA PUTS OUT LOTS OF WSB AND YELLOWS.
BARRACUDA COUNTS DOWN.
Way Way Up North
1 boat out 1 fish caught from Chris's
Up North- Channel Islands
Island Tak and Pacific Clipper did OK on the bass and a few other species.
LA Area- Catalina Island
Tide Change, Westerly, El Dorado, Phantom all got WSB and 3 out of 4 got yellowtail too.
Further South- San Clemente
My info is sparce.... Sorry
San Diego- Coronados
Missionbelle and Pacific got lots of yellowtail. The local action in SD was fair but the catch was a real mixed bag.
LA Local
Redondo Special is STILL getting WSB in both the AM and PM runs! The barracuda bit is down with just a couple of boats getting 3 digit counts on the slimers.
Royal Star go 80+ albies down south.
