I used to do that on the Yellowstone River out of Livingston MT with BIG old muskie streamers used in the the great lakes, weighted line, off a drift boat. We would have HUGE browns upwards of 5# and over 26'' following all the way up to the boat and smackin it right at the last second it was sure a reaction of territory. These streamers were jointed with about an inch of mono and were very lifelike, looked like a swim bait at least 4 to 5 inches long. I have seen huge fish in the green as well chasing smaller trout. This is very exciting to see these fish jumping air born to escape the massive
fish. I found fishing that way got tiring fast but was fun to do when the fishing is slower.
