Using braid for the first time

What a huge difference braid is compared to mono. Replaced one of my reels from mono to braid and tried it out for the first time yesterday. I still fish at pay lakes and like to just sit back and wait for a bite. The first time a fish hit it was so violent that I barely had time to react and watched as the fish almost pulled my rod into the lake. What a rush! I can cast so much further also. I can underhand cast as far as I needed whereas everyone else was overhanding. It's completely different from what I'm used to. Very cool!
